When will the School Board cease to be a Good Ole Boys and Girls Club and actually stand up for Parents and Children?
I will be going back thru the Archives and updating this thread with the links to the issues over the last few years, maybe that will shock some voters into getting rid of the School Board members that "Do Nothing."
I commented on your blog a week or so back about incidents in which a school employee had used student info to gossip here is a incident breakdown.
Incident 1
Family withdrew a student from BG to home school him due to bullying. School employee who works for the school system in food services at the school systems main office hears of this and shares the info and tells people the student has "emotional problems." This gets back to the parent of the student and they call Kaiser to make a complaint anonymously. Kaisers office says the employees has been spoken to about sharing private info about students.
Incident 2
Another student from the same family has a minor behavior infraction and she is sent to the pass room for one block. The same employee finds out about this and is sharing the info with people not involved or employed by the school system. Again Kaisers office is called and says the matter is being handled.
Incident 3
Another student from a differant family withdraws from the school system to transfer the employee again gets info about this and starts gossiping to others in the community about why the student is transfering grades, attendance, or behavior. The parents of the student catch ahold of the rampant rumors of why thier student is leaving and call Kaisers office and again they say the incident is being handled.
I have left the names of the students families and employee out of this.
This may make a good thread on your blog I am curious to see whether anyone else has had these kinds of issues with other employees in the school system.
I just wonder how someone that works in the school system office that handles food service for all the schools access to this type of info and why this emplpyees sharing it as gossip with other people has not been taken care of.

so which people running for school board are a part of the club?
Does anyone know if board members have relatives working for the schools? That may be an issue to think about.

School Board members must balance what is good for the Student and Parents along with the Taxpayers. It is not an easy job, if you only wanted what is good for the student and Parent the School System would be broke financially.
What does spending money have to do with school employees abusing student information?
Im confused in food service like a lunch lady?
My daughter had the same problem last year she decided to go to a private school and I heard through a friend that someone that works for the school told people she left because she was pregnant. Which was not the case at all.
My son was caught with a cigarette last year which he shouldnt of had at all, he was punished at school and home of course then my husband hears from another parent that someone from the school told them it was a joint and that my son was probably going to be kicked out of school. My son made a mistake but now people think hes a "stoner" because of someone gossiping that shouldnt of been involved in the matter at all. Hes a good kid honor roll and does sports. Even now though a year later some of his friends still wont hangout with him because of hes a "pothead" Which is a lie.
It sounds like the students are being prepared for what goes on in real life. A whole lot of backstabbing, especially on blogs. Get over it and move on.
OK here is the low down. I went to the Town Hall meeting. Im positive that Mobley is part of the cover up..she was dozing at the meeting, must have kept her up to late. Im positive that Prindle is part of the cover up, she was pissed that meeting was being taped, rummaged around in her purse the whole meeting and said on film that in tough times she counts on the FEARLESS LEADER for all decisions. Jarvis and Skirvin Im sure are the ones that wanted this employee dealt with but do to numbers got shot down. We need to keep Jarvis and dump Prindle and Mobley. They are RUBBER STAMPERS. Look pay attention people. As far as the new people running, Goers was a no show, sooooooo are you telling me your only showing if you get paid?? Thats how Im taking it. Justice doesnt know anything past HP because her kids are young, really??? Im glad she is willing to learn but NO TIME, we need action now!! Storey wants to revise school of old, well that aint gonna happen, we barely have the money for sports and band. Spitz, know shes a mouth but must be popular, she and Jarvis have alot of signs out. Think I like her and Jarvis the best. Would still like to ask more questions of the candidates if we can keep them awake and get them all to show up. In the mean time King, Luttrell, Hensley get a pass for now but better learn that rubber stampin is gonna end, we want a sound school system so it will stand when Buck finished JW's will and runs this damn city into the ground

the people up for election are prindle mobley jarvis. 1 position will be vacant because hensley is not running, making it 4 open for election with 7 running. king, skirvin and luttrell are not up for election this time around.
spitz worked in the school system before and has kids in school knows what needs done, mobley well she tries but maybe her husbands hurt her chances, prindle well maybe time for change, been doing it along time, justice don't know much about her but dowtful of winning, story jsut relying her name and old mans school coaching, jarvis wants to work for the community, does alot of things maybe overwhelemd, goers who is this guy. you can vote for 1 of them, 2 or none at all. something needs to happen
prindle = show have been gone years ago. just likes the money and being one of the cool kids.
mobley = nice lady, no balls, gets sympathy vote because people are stupid.
justice = mayor talked into running and is backing her. she was stupid enough to tell people that while drunk in a beech grove bar. seriously? someone will vote for you?
spitz = dont care for her because of the mouth but i would rather have her working for me than against me.
jarvis = the guy is everywhere doing everything for everybody. needs to run for mayor!
storey = rubber stamp for the rubber stamp school board president. she will vote like kaiser tells her to because being popular is more important that doing whats right for the kids. backed by the mayor.
goer = another mayor backed nobody who will do what the mayor tells him.
right after the election the super and mayor had a meeting and decided to join forces to control beech grove. the only problem with that is that the mayor cant keep his mouth shut about it. now you know why the mayor is backing storey, justice, and goer.

I have heard from too many credible sources that Storey, Goers and Justice were asked to run by the Mayor w/ his financial backing. I do not believe for a minute that isn't true! Also, the meeting that was held w/ Dr. Kaiser and the Mayor after the "Meet the Candidates" meeting was totally uncalled for and very suspiscious! Oh, and the video? Hmmm Where is it Mr. Ed Bell? Why hasn't it been posted for all to see for themselves the behavior of some current board members.
Finance report is unnecessary until the campaign amount reaches $500. The receipt I have for the sign materials is maybe $50. I can assure to anyone that this expense along with anything else campaign related was out of my own pocket. However I did get a stamped envelope from my employer for the original nomination form....do I need to file that?

SCHOOL BOARD OFFICE EXCEPTION: A candidate for a school board office who receives more than $500 in contributions or makes more than $500 in expenditures as a candidate for a school board office must have a principal committee. A candidate who meets this exception must file the CFA-1 form no later than noon ten (10) days after the candidate exceeds the $500 contribution or expenditure amount. (IC 3-9-1-5.5)

Ok here is the latest skinny, sitting eating dinner in Mi Amigos last night and overheard a group of people talking. Mobleys had their attorney send a Cease and Decist order placed on a person in the group because she was posting on Facebook about HIS impending court case for Soliciting a Prostitue. Do they need money that bad!! Isnt it time we quit electing people whose childrens name got them elected in the first place. I really DONT want him or her on any boards. Now when Eddie returns.....EDDIE MOBLEY FOR MAYOR and to hell with the rest!!!
Yeah if Eddie ever runs for office I'd rather not vote for him. Nothing against him nice kid but I'd rather have someone in office that has actually served in combat and by combat I mean taking and receiving fire. Not an officer that is an officer because they went to West Point. When I was in combat the officers looked to the enlisted men to make thier decisions.
I just had to call the superintendents office today about a school worker gossiping about my kids to others. When will this end?

So let me wrap my noggin around this, Buck has closed door meeting with Kaiser,Stevens, and King after School Board Candidate meet and greet. Mobley is going thru his Caught with his Pants Down Court Case. Bell is sucking up to Buck and Mobley cuz he only won by 5 votes and the video that shows Grumpy(Prindle), Sleepy(Mobley), and Dopey(Justice) on it has all of a sudden disappeared. What a crock. Over it!!!!!

Just like has been posted...Mobley asleep, Justice cant talk much about anything because her children are young, Prindle lets Kaiser make all the decisions...HUH!! It's unfortunate this doesn't show the broad view. It doesn't capture Prindle throwing a hissy fit in the beginning because it was being taped! Doesn't show sleep Mobley dozing and doesn't show Prindle doodling on her notepad or rolling her eyes while others talked. However, it does show the attitude and eye rolling of Prindle while she talks and it shows her gum chomping, (real professional huh) Also show Prindle stated under another financial crisis, she will simple take the word of Dr. Kaiser and Dr. Keeley an no mention of any research, polling the community, etc. We need a board that will ask questions, do their own research and be a leader, not a follower. Need fresh new faces, open thinking, willingness to listen to the people and kids and have the nerve to stand up for what they believe is right not go along w/ what they are told and assume it is always correct. Justice seems to have good intent but just stil very unexperienced in the school system. Storey well experienced, but not sure will stand up when needed? Mobley absolutely will follow the others, too nice and timid to speak up, MJ and Spitz definitely have the voice and nerve to speak out and go against the flow if need be, both have have gone thru the system themselves or thru kids and are open to new ideas and thinking outside the box according to their answers. Please people, this is a Paid position! Our kids deserve for you to make them earn it!
well take it to the bank that your new members are prindle, mobley, justice, storey. a very good group there who will most definately work for the betterment of the school system and its kids.
the others running won't even come close to any votes, plus they don't know anything about what it takes! mobley and prindle will be excellent mentors to justice and storey!!

When you are out in the community, at every event for almost every school, know more parents and kids then any other school board member. You dont need to spend any money or have a sign!
Oh yeah you are absolutely correct, going to your childrens Booster and Middle School sporting events and going to the High School Football games cuz ur husband is a coach and trying to stay making the extra money DOES entitle you to the school board. We will see if that translates into common sense. Hell if attending Sporting events entitles you to a Board Spot my 80yo mother is entitled as well!! Bahahahahahahaa
The intent of my comment was this... People know her, they are comfortable talking to her and she cares for the kids and the community. I stand behind my vote for her and know that I can go to her with any issue. She WILL do her best to make a difference. As for where she donates her time to help this community, I see them every where not only at sporting events. I could sit here and justify all day and list the reasons I voted but I would imagine it wouldn't do any good. There are many people, parents and kids who are very thankful for everything Jeff and Tammy Storey do for this community and we showed it on Election Day. They work together as a husband and wife team, from raising their children to helping in the community. Big deal. They are equally important. There are a lot of families in this community who work together as theirs does, and yes, usually the husbands are the ones in the spotlight, with the wives working just as hard behind the scenes but that doesn't make them any less important or any less of an asset to our community and school system. Again, we elected her to the school board for her name. Because we know she cares for our schools and our children. No signs needed!
And by the way, Thursday, November 8 @ 2:00. Who would you have liked to see voted onto the school board?
wow know more people than those on the school board? if you don't work you've got plenty of time to know everyone, others work and still make time. never should be about a name, plenty of that already, its what the person can do. just don't be so damn stuck on yourself when people try and talk to you!
